One of the funniest plays ever written, this extraordinarily inventive, side-splitting comedy has a surprising "twist" ending. The action centers on the dilemma of a young architect who is visited by a man he's never met but who saved his life in Vietnam - the visitor turns out to be an incredibly hopeless stupid "nerd" who outstays his welcome with a vengeance.

I would like to pass along congratulations to Steve and his cast and crew of "The Nerd". My supervisor at work attended Saturday night's performance and just RAVED about the show this morning. She had visitors from the Chicago area and they all really enjoyed the show.
One funny comment she had for John: "I don't know who the actor was who played The Nerd, but he was PERFECT." There you go!!!
The whole family saw the show last night. What fun it was. It has one of the most memorable characters you'll likely ever see and a very good cast including terrific performances by some newcomers.
So slip into your Chucks, grab your slicker and go see this show.
Wednesday night, I had the priviledge of taking production pictures for The Nerd ...what a funny, funny show. I went back Thursday just to watch and laugh, wow! this cast is ready. I encourage you to come tickle your funny bone, you won't be disappointed. The entire cast is great, and John is the ultimate Nerd ... you never know what he will come up with next. Congratulations Steve & cast. Thanks for giving me a much needed night of laughter.
